Macca and TheFerry!

This year at the Geneva International Auto Show many manufacturers brought new cars and without any doubt the hyper-car segment has a spotlight, since two of the biggest brands on earth (finally) presented their halo cars. Those cars are the most advanced to date and they use the best technologies and know-how of their respective brands.
The first is the McLaren P1. It is a tech tour-de-force from the british manufacturer. It is supposed to be the successor of the iconic McLaren F1. It is a incredible machine and the price for all of this goodness? $1.15 million. Of course the price is base, so adding personalized extras will add up that number quickly.

McLaren P1
Engine: 3.8L V8 twin-turbo and paired with an electric motor.Power: total of 903 horsepower (!) and 663 ft/lb of torque.Performance**: 0-60 mph in less than 3 sec, less than 7 sec to 124 mph and around 11 sec to 189 mph.

The second is the brand new Ferrari's Enzo successor. It is called Ferrari LaFerrari. Yes, it is a very dumb name. And after analyzing the car, Ferrari needed to screw up something, and this time they went for the name. Other than that, the car is pretty much all what Ferrari engineers know from Formula 1 and applied to a road-car. Only 499 will be built and Luca di Montezemolo (President of Ferrari) said that they have over 800 written orders for it. It is quite a success, especially considering that the hefty price tag: $1.4 million.

Ferrari LaFerrari
Engine: 6.3L V12 naturally aspirated and paired with a Hy-Kers electric motorPower: 949 hp and 663 pound-feet of torque.Performance**: 0-60 mph in less than 3 sec, less than 7 sec to 124 mph and top speed of 203 mph.

And now to you guys... Which one would you pick to put in your garage?

**The performance figures of the cars are the ones declared by the manufacturers.
